Q:

  1. The Speaker Agreement reads: "Educational Works developed for this session such as recordings, slides, illustrations, charts, and handouts are considered works for hire and are the intellectual property of Maternity House Publishing,". Does this mean I cannot present on this topic or research at other conferences in the future? Or just that I am not allowed to use the same power point presentation slides?

A: This refers to the fact that presentation she does for us is ours afterwards, so we can for instance re-play her presentation in the future, or use clips of it for future promotion etc. She can present on this topic again of course, this is her knowledge to share. She could not take our recording and use it somewhere else for instance.
